We're One Martyr Away From an All-Out Riot

Bloomberg seems to want to provoke a riot. After green-lighting the kind of savagery we saw in the Anthony Bologna video, the Mayor suggested that there won't be any freedom of speech unless people fight for it. He's setting the stage for a violent confrontation, one that will certainly occur if immediate steps aren't taken to cool the situation.

He's abused his position as the Republican Mayor of New York City before. But this is the first time he's actually used classic military strategy to corner protestors into a fight-or-surrender situation. This is very dangerous behavior, and he's not supposed to be a participant in a political struggle; he supposed to be the guy in charge.

I don't know what New York's politicians are doing to rein in the Mayor and his out-of-control Police Commissioner. The only real steady hand in this has been that of the protestors' steering committee. This thing could get out of hand very quickly. One more Anthony Bologna ugly incident, only this time the victim dies. Then you've got a riot.

New campfire; primitives are still asleep, so no comments yet.

"savagery"?

What savagery?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

What savagery?

By the way, does New York City have a new mayor now, with coincidentally the exact same name as the former mayor?

I don't think Bloomberg's a Republican; I think he's a liberal independent.

This Republican mayor then must be a different Michael Bloomberg.

It's obvious the primitive wants a martyr, by the way--and so probably the primitive should offer up himself to be the martyr, rather than having "other people" do it.

No doubt.

You can hear his subtext of "opleezopleezopleez" as he dreams of running riot up and down the streets of New York breaking and taking as his little heart sees fit. Then you and I are supposed to walk off the factory floor into the sunlight for the first time, blinking away its brightness, wrapping ourselves in its warmth, so that we may fall at his be-sneakered feet (Reebok Hi-Tops, only $54.99 at your local JC Penny; be sure to check 'em out!) and thank him for liberating us from the evil corporations which we were too ingorant to know had enslaved us.

Just like the libs that claim "we should all pay more taxes", and "we have to reduce the population of the earth by a few billion". None of the primitives suggesting either of those ever volunteers to set the example by going first.

9. OP, you are so true. Bloomberg is looking to be the new Rockefeller aka Attica. Can't see beyond the end of his nose what could happen and thinks he's on the right hand of god. Rockefeller did too. for a couple of days

3. In Ireland they called them a blood sacrifice.

Here's the thing. Blood sacrifices don't always work the way you think they will. i.e. Kent State. If you ever saw a case for abuse of power, that was it. Yet, the Kent State students were penalized for that action. All of them.

So, keep the cameras rolling, and don't let them goad you into any first blood scenarios.

5. All major players are working against "We The People"...

Bloomberg has been given specific orders to stop this thing. Are you kidding me? The elites who have destroyed our democracy do not want a successful revolt.

All of us--including the protester--should assume that the cops, the media, Bloomberg, our politicians--and the rest of the powers-that-be will be WORKING TO STOP THIS.

That's what the Brooklyn Bridge was all about.

7. Maybe he's playing three-dimensional chess?

Maybe he actually wants to see change in our financial system and has been disappointed at the lack of media attention? ...So he's just helping the protests get attention?

After all, except for Officer Baloney, the arrests haven't been particularly violent by the usual kNock Your Punk ass Down standards...

This one little snippet in the OP made me wonder:

They're probably patting them on the back for keeping you dirty, smelly hippies contained.

BTW--if Ray Kelly really was "out of control," why would he be on his second stint as the Police Commissioner?  Maybe he did a pretty good job the first time, DUmb****, so he was considered for another run.

Well, he has stayed out of prison. For a big city police commissioner, that's a huge feather in his cap.
