More Facebook nonsense.
« on: September 28, 2011, 04:20:41 PM »
Logged on to Facebook today to see how my firends are doing and to express my joy over the Kindle Fire when I saw one of my teacher firends had posted a link from moveon.org and that Warren twat. ( Sorry for the harsh language but people who have made as much money as she has over the years with only 2 brain cells to rub together piss me off. ) I had to fight my self to keep from picking it apart. The only thing that stopped me was because I keep my politics to a minimum on my FB and the woman who posted it really is a good a friend of mine who has helped me keep my head up though this very rough time in my life. It is one thing to call a anonymous DUmmie a idiot but I just can not tear into a actual friend.

At least I have CC to vent my spleen.

WTF is up with the new setup?  How about posts showing up in chronological order, like they used to be?

I can't stand it.

Bodadh, I fixed my liberal problem on FB a while back; I deleted all those f'ers.  :evillaugh:

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

I just dealt with some of this stupidity today on facebook. I love how liberals will call you out and then retreat to the neutral position when you start tearing them apart...

Even though I hate when FB changes, the new list features are great for situations like this :-)
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

That Kindle Fire sure does look nice.  I'd love to have one as a Christmas gift.

That new Facebook is crap, but they newest version (Facebook Timeline) comes out VERY soon.  Someone on my Facebook list already has it and he said it is so much better than that current cluster ****.

Yes, but does anyone have a good recipe for lemon squares?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Yes ...if you are seriously asking... www.pauladeen.com

I hate the new FB, and I decided a long time ago to keep my political feelings away from FB, simply because of my job.

However, it's also very rare that I ever post anything going on in my personal life. Ever since I found out that lawyers, creditors, employers, etc can subpoena FB accounts... I don't do much other than wish happy birthdays, "like" something or make an occasional comment on someone's picture or send prayers if someone is ill.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

I seem to see a new version of FB almost every time I log on but I never seem to see what everyone else is seeing ( and usually hating ). It has been like for me since I started using it so I pretty much ignore all the odd stuff it does now.
