Jeeze, the old strain was pretty dangerous already.  I had it as an infant, but they tried all sorts of experimental therapy (Just a year or so before the vaccine was developed) and by a miracle I came through it without permanent major damage.

It will always be something.  Seems to be the nature of the world.

I just got back from a trip to Denver.  At the meeting, the out-of-towners were warned about listeriosis.  Dang.  I hadn't seen that for years and then it was in horses.

So, if I start talking in circles...  I apologize that was in bad taste.
