Omaha Steve & Marta election update 9-17-11

Marta and I own most popular historic web site in town. It is in my ward when I run for city council. Marta will be running city wide for board of education. So soon there will be mention of Marta's and my run for office on this page, and the front page of our site.

You know, given that there's a strong anti-nadin bloc here, I'm suspecting that my fellow Nebraskan, along with the Taverner primitive, might, just might, have a chance to make an outside run against nadin and end up the top DUmmie of 2011.

I dunno, but right now, if I were to pick the primitive most likely to be top DUmmie, if it isn't nadin, it'd be either one of those two.

They're more likely to split the anti-nadinistas, and she still wins.

Now, if one of them were to come out and publicly throw his support to the other, nadin may have her work cut out. But that'll never happen.

If everyone dislikes nadin, that's all the more reason she'll win. No one has ever had anything but contempt for greenbriar or TiTtyboy, but they were excellent Top DUmmies.

It's just a shame that The weeping primitive's campaign won't kick off until the end of POTY balloting.
I have been wondering how much he's hoping to fleece from that 'vast' pool of idiots at Skin's Island.

Still, I don't think Nadin's lead for POTY is insurmountable

I'm sure the Weeper will score a lot of votes, because the field is so weak, but I just don't see him as a top contender.

Top DUmmies always have "signature" threads.

Greenbriar had her attempted adultery on the cruise ship, vulgar Grandma Bonnie, near death at the laundry  mat, planning for
an anniversary sexual extravaganza, the drunk in the basement, and others too numerous to mention.

TiTyboy had countless heroic lies about his experiences as a Seal/Green Beret in Viet Nam, test driving a $300K Tesla, sleeping with the Norwegian Olympic bikini team, throwing Repugs out of the trinket shop, etc.

Nutcase nadin has a whole series of apocalypses that DUmpmonkeys have survived only due to her leadership, her "parenteral" humiliation, her forty days and forty nights (actually more like three) in Crazy Andrea's wilderness, her vicious word battles with the bullies, her current smackdown of Skimmer, and lots of other hilarious lunacy.

The dick inspector has had some good storylines that could become classic, as have DUmmy cali, ThomWV, Warpy, Taverner, and others.

Maybe the Weeper will develop some good storylines in his budding political campaign, but right now, I don't see his "signature" thread. He's easily DUmb enough, and communicates well enough, to be a top contender, but he really needs to get his ass in gear.

You know, one of the two things that always disgusted me about my fellow Nebraskan is the way he tries to capitalize on his ethnicity.  He's 1/64th or 1/128th some long-ago oppressed minority group, and likes to equate his life with their long-ago afflictions and sufferings (which of course were very real; Omaha Steve's are fake).

The guy looks more Caucasian than franksolich; just really lily-white.
