Legislative brew-ha-ha: State Rep gets beer dumped on head

Three state lawmakers had their night turn a bit soggy Wednesday when a man dumped a glass of beer on the head of one of the lawmakers, with the beer then splashing on the other two, Madison police reported. Police said the incident happened at the Inn on the Park, 22 S. Carroll St., at about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect being sought by police is believed to be a 26-year-old Madison man who has been harassing the target, State Rep. Robin Vos, R-Burlington, since February, according to police. The two lawmakers getting indirect hits were Rep. John Nygren, R-Marinette, and Rep. Scott Suder, R-Abbotsford.

The suspect allegedly yelled out something on the order of "Money" and "Damned Republicans" before pouring a glass of Miller Lite beer onto Vos' head. "All of the victims indicated the suspect swore at them and called them criminals," said Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

According to a police news release, the suspect showed up at the bar of the hotel accompanied by a man with a video camera. "The bartender asked the videographer to turn the camera off," DeSpain said. "Following the request, the suspect took the glass of beer and emptied it onto the lawmaker's head." DeSpain told madison.com the suspect ordered a Miller from the bartender.

Hey DUmmies, normal people express dissatisfaction with politicians via elections.  Then again, those didn't work out for you too well...

They have seen the writing on the wall. Before it was always "Our message isn't getting out". Well it got out and it is not getting rave reviews. Expect more of this as they go off the deep end. Must suck to be dems. Expect them to blame everything under the sun except their message. Sooner or later one of these idiots will mess with the wrong person and get their ass kicked. Someone pours beer on me, an ass whipping will definitely ensue and the idiot that does it better hope he gets a good facial reconstruction surgeon in the OR.

I like the follow up quote from the "(wo)man on the street".

Quote
"(Vos) deserves everything he gets and more," said Roberta Retrum, 61, of Eagle River, who came to Madison on her vacation to protest and was outside the police station. She blamed Vos for all the "crappy legislation" the state now has.

Yep, no agenda there.

I came real close to logging in and posting in that DU campfire.

A month or so ago a moonbat was sentenced to a short stint in the hoosegow for bopping Sen. levin in the mug with a cream pie earlier in the year.

When the sentence was handed down, to a woman, they agreed that the moonbat should be in jail as it's not proper to hit an elected official.

I know that isn't breaking news but DUmmies are a bunch of hypocrites.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.
