the primitives and 9-11
« on: September 11, 2011, 01:47:04 PM »
I suppose this is in the nature of a "shout-out" to the contemptible primitives all bent out of shape because of the commemorations of 9-11, but whatever.

I'm not privy to popular culture, and so haven't been aware of the publicity or memorialization of 9-11 that allegedly has saturated the airwaves (visual and audio; television and radio), personal and telephonic chitchattery, and I don't pay attention to advertisements in the newspapers.

So I dunno if there's been "too much hoopla" surrounding this anniversary, or too little commemoration.

It's not because of where I live (where, interestingly, people have a greater awareness of the outside world than primitives living in congested blue places); it's simply because I'm deaf, I can't hear.

I suppose that makes me a person directed by internal forces, not external ones.

And so all of my feelings about 9-11 come wholly from within myself, not being influenced by what "other people" say or think.  It's about as "independent" a "thinker" as one can possibly be.

The morning of September 11, 2001, when I first heard of it, the thought that immediately came to mind was, "Well, this is the End of the Age of Aquarius, the twilight of the godless, the Gotterdammerung of the hippies."

It's being too damned long of deathbed throes, but it's happening.

Nine-eleven was the consequence of those among us who wished America ill, and who for nearly 30 years did their best to erode away all that made America great, strong and powerful, free.

A great, strong, powerful, and free America that allowed parasites to flourish and prosper off other people.

Well, America no longer being so, our soil and people were attacked with ease.

What happens to a people under siege--and it's happened throughout all of history, no exceptions--is that they individually and collectively decide what's important, and what's not, when it comes to survival; they toss aside the toys, the luxuries, the gizmos, the ruffles and frills, the useless, the non-necessities.

What happened ten years ago today was not the death-knell of America; it was the beginning of the passing of an age, an era, dominated by Americans who loathed America (Democrat politicians, academicians, Hollywood, the news media, whatnot), the tossing-off of those values and people no longer vital to the existence of America.

But damn, the Old Order, the ancien regime, the Establishment, still lives, although obviously only feebly writhing and moaning; one wishes the corpse would hurry up and die and get cold, so we can haul the body out to the trash-heap of history.
apres moi, le deluge

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."
