that is all I can say to you.

And you have not been in my town when the local weather men (yes they are all boys) are out and about. They do save lives every winter storm... in spite of all the antics.

Of course I could have been accused of hype when we warned people that we'd not be able to go rescue them in the middle of a flash flood, and that they had to leave. Well they chose NOT TO LISTEN TO MY HYPE... we buried them.

But since it is hype, read the OP... turn everything off... please, protect your ears from the hype.

Which for the record it is a RW talking point...

I know a lot of you guys have grown tired of nadin, but I've got to say that I haven't been so impressed by a DUmmie since the TiT days.

I know she's been around DUnceland for a long time, but it seems that this year she's climbed to the top of the heap. Has she always been like this? Or is this a concerted effort to win the coveted award?

Anyone have any idea what the blithering idiot is talking about?

It seems that several conservative columnists, etc... have made note that the lib media were building this storm up to be bad, and when it didn't turn out to be such, the media continued to portray the storm as though it was as bad as they had predicted it would be.  The media has egg on their face now because they were claiming winds and damage were happening in certain areas, but the people living there were looking out their windows and noticing very little, if any, rain and the wind blowing maybe 10 mph.

So, now if a primitive criticizes the media for lying about how bad things were, they're assisting a RW talking point.

I'm drawing a blank insofar as nadin's concerned, and it's interfering with my release of "the secret diaries of nadin," to be started later this week.

Okay, so she's of Hebraic derivation, her parents having been Jews in Poland who fled to Mexico just before the beginning of the second world war.  Or her grandparents, as nadin's only in her mid- or late 40s.  When of age, she served in the Israeli Defense Forces.

And now nadin's out in San Diego, writing books for fantasy-gamers, and married to a former admiral or something.

So.....what happened inbetweentimes?

Did she meet the Navy officer and marry him, and live in other parts of the world, where she gained all this experience with emergency management and emergency medicine?  Or did she just go from Israel to San Diego, and stay there?

nadin needs to write her biography, so as to illuminate us.

I'm myself basically interested in where she got all this training and experience in all this emergency stuff.

I'm pretty sure Mr. nadin (may God have mercy on his soul) is a retired Navy non-com. I think it was the American Navy.

She's been around a long time, but this year she's been orders of magnitude more obnoxious, arrogant, condescending, and ignorant.

EVERYTHING she knows, absolutely everything, is whatever she recalls from scanning through "the google". She has no formal training, expertise or skill in any field, and is as a result nearly unemployable. Role-playing games with little G.I. Joe figurines are not particularly profitable.

Considering her absolute inability to interact with other humans without conflict, she's on "the google" and her moonbat forums pretty much full time.

There is no question that her full frontal assault on the DUmbasses, beginning very early in 2011, is a conscious campaign for DOTY votes.

TiTtyboy and Pam Dawson are her role models, and in many ways she has outdone both of them.

I have not seen a pull like this in the end since Secretariat was coming from behind at the Kentucky Derby.  Flippy would you give my best to Secretariat? Thanks.

I think they are hoping to portray this as ObeyWon's Katrina and to show that he saved or created many more lives than President Bush did.

Nadin says here that she "came to San Diego to study at San Diego State, and earned a masters in History". She is/was also President of Deist Games in 2006, and claimed to live in Hawaii in 2004. Maybe Mr. nadin, Thomas Abbott QMC (SS), Ret., who served as Assistant Navigator on the USS Key West in 2001 and shares an e-mail address (nadinb@2aol.com) with the Wize One, was stationed at Pearl in 2004.

The plot, yes, thickens...

I have a feeling that her only "Disaster" training is CPR and some basic first aid. I hate to say it but in emergency medicine situations I am able to type information off the cuff. I rarely run to google to cut and paste information because emergency medicine (EMT type) is my area of expertise and if she claims to be an authority then why the cut and paste?
I have also noticed lots of the things she posted were blatantly plagiarized. Her hurricane tips were in the exact same order as several of the web sites that come up first on a google search. She just added her own crap to it but never credited the actual experts.

Another Nadin gem as a LTTE circa 2007:

Quote

The unsound state of nation's infrastructure

Regarding “Minn. bridge collapse kills 7” (A1, Aug. 2):

The philosophy espoused by the Republican Party of lower taxes has led to massive infrastructure failures, starting in New Orleans during Katrina, followed by the steam pipe explosion in New York City, and now in Minneapolis-St Paul.

The mantra of lower taxes has reached its logical conclusion: The nation's infrastructure is failing. We have been here before. In fact, this is 1927 all over again. What will it take for many Americans to finally understand this: Paying taxes is patriotic, and those taxes fund the commons?

Perhaps a couple more infrastructure failures will do the trick. Perhaps the ME culture will win out, and the country will join many developing world countries where disasters such as Wednesday's are everyday occurrences.
