To all you trash-talking West-Coasters with your earthquake savvy:

Take your next earthquake in an all-brick office building without your fancy West-Coast earthquake-proof building codes, and then you can talk.

Believe me, Californian's think they're all Billy Badass when it comes to quakes, and then when it hits they're whining because they don't have any disaster kits and the gas went out, etc.

And let's not even get into when it RAINS.  Not hard, mind you--just rain.

The Harmon hotel in Las Vegas (located at City Center) is not up to code for earthquakes.  From what I understand, the hotel will have to be demolished because it cannot withstand an earthquake.

But I bet you would cry, bitch, and moan when you were starving to death.  Yes, we complain about rain because it governs our profitability.

I am not knocking farming in anyway shape or form but I have to ask, so you went perfect weather for your crop?  What about the other farmers crop? The farmer growing olives or citrus isn't going to need much rain but the farmer growing tobacco or grains is gone need about 50% more rain.

I know you were not knocking farmers.  I was having fun with you.  They do not grow oranges, olives, or tobacco where I grow my wheat.  I don't want perfect weather, I just want to pay my bills.  Too much rain, my wheat gets fungus and the protein count goes down, too little rain and not much wheat.

I don't think wheat and oats need as much rain as a citrus-based crop. Don't know about olives. I can't stand'em.
