New week - new smear. The left's latest Bachmann smear.

Over the past two years nine young people have committed suicide in Michele Bachmann's backyard - or at least the Minnesota school districts she represents.

Many more have attempted to take their own lives leading state public health officials to slap a 'suicide contagion area' label on the region because of the high levels.

At least four of those who committed suicide were openly gay or, at least, perceived to be gay by classmates, and many were reportedly bullied.

While it is impossible to prove why these youngsters took their own lives, some critics are suggesting a link between the suicides and the anti-gay rhetoric sweeping through school districts in the state.

The news may be uncomfortable for Bachmann who has a number of anti-gay policies.

This smear is spreading like wildfire and the way people are talking, you'd think Bachmann personally tied the noose and kicked out the chair, loaded the gun and pulled the trigger, or force-fed the pills to all these suicides.

well if suicide rates in a legislators district are the responsibility of the elected official, then pelosi has some 'splaining to do.

According to data collected by the Lucile Packard Foundation, San Francisco is the only Bay Area County that has a higher average of children's suicides than the state average.

Just a word about Bachmann..during lunch today I was reading an article in the Weekly Standard about her.  She got involved in politics mainly as a response to the educational system.  One day, one of her foster kids took out her 11th grade math homework.  It was a poster.  The assignment?  Color it in. 

11th grade.  Math.

(P.S.  She was a convert from the Carter era.  She worked on the Carter campaign, but woke up and converted after seeing how democrats act like DUmmies.  Nasty, America-hating, constitution-hating, founding fathers-hating DUmmies.)
