On the other hand, I have a brother that gets headaches worse than the horrible migraines he's had all his life.  These are so much more severe that he has been known to just double over and drop when they hit.  During a scan to find the problem, the veins in his brain contracted so severely that it took 10x the expected time for the contrast to finally clear.  Aside from the pain, he was truly fearful they had blinded him for life.  They've spent thousands of dollars on specialists to try to find a cure...but no one can help him.  Yet for 4 years, he didn't qualify for disability.  I guess he should have just gotten fat...


And depressed, of course.  I think that is the trick, the depression, because no matter how good the mental health professional,you can't really PROVE someone is faking those symptoms

I still remember that exchange with Greenbriar, appearing on page 3 of this thread.  My jaw was dropped wide open.  The entitlement!  The cluelessness!  I was embarrassed for her.
