Nutcase Nadin Knows Airport Security
« on: July 02, 2011, 12:00:57 AM »
I have to admit, know-it-all nadin's schtick (google that, nads) is getting very, very old. If she can't crank up the arrogance level enough to provoke another DUmp free-for-all, we'll just have to start ignoring her. She should be a contender, but she's just getting stale.

GOOD Ratigan is going onto the TSA theater
it is now affecting travel too, people refusing to travel... THIS is what will change this... PROFITS are no longer for the air travel industry. So it is a fight now between the Chertoff machines and the airlines.

Half of her posts are about the most recent moonbat TV show. She's like Pedro Picasso. And no one is refusing to travel.

2. IT is not just the porno scanner
they need to revise the system fully from top to bottom and yes... check all that goes into belly of aircraft.

(And yes they need to go for obvious reasons)

Everyone who wants to see nutcase nadin naked, raise your hand...... Anyone?....... Put your hand down, steve.

6. In the meantime...
there are others of us who fly frequently and go through the checkpoint with minimal fuss. I believe the overall situation is being blown out of proportion.
It's a miracle that this guy continues to survive at the DUmp.

Now, the problem is that most DUmp democrats don't work, so they can't travel. Some could travel, but it would violate the conditions of their parole. If they could, though, DUmmy rexcat would be the typical DUmp traveller:

9. And there are some frequent fliers like me...
that won't go through the scanner because of safety issues and I have been hurt two times during pat downs (Cincinnati OH airport) and roughed up at the Columbus, OH airport by a TSA idiot who was trying to make an example of me for refusing to go through the x-ray scanner! At the Raleigh-Durham airport this year a TSA idiot decided to walk too close to me and he was not watching where he was going and stepped on my foot.

I had shoulder replacement surgery November 2009 and March 2010 I flew for the first time post-op, I set off the magnetometer and had to go through the pat down process. I showed the TSA person my scar and told him that my shoulder and arm were extremely sensitive. When he started to "pat down" my shoulder and arm he gave a nice tug on the arm causing me great pain to the point the bomb squad supervisor came over and asked if I needed medical assistance. The second time at Cincinnati another idiot from TSA jerked by arm causing pain. Mu anxiety level goes up anytime I fly and I fly way too much. I have 2.5 million miles on Delta and another 0.5+ million miles on other airlines.

It comes down to one point, if you think what they are doing is security go ahead and believe what you want. In my opinion it is nothing but security theater to make the appearance they know what they are doing. They waste resources on the old and affirmed who are not security risks. Personally I don't want to feel safe, I want to be safe and they are not doing their job as outlined by their mandate.

It has gotten to the point that I don't want to fly so I will be taking early retirement at the end of the year. The stress of flying and being in airplanes with stupid Americans who just want to feel safe and not actually be safe is just too much.

11. The idea is...  prevention.

In the meantime, I am hardly saying procedures can't be improved so travelers like yourself don't have to endure pain. Would you have no security procedures at all?

I would be willing to bet that this DUmbass has never been inside an airport:

23. You want to fly today? Expect humiliation and violation  of your Constitutional rights.

All in the name of security, the Supremacy Clause and "an abundance of caution".

They haven't done their job since the TSA started.

28. I understand... I don't have to fly too often
and it is far from enjoyable any longer. It used to be. I used to LOOK FORWARDS to it.

I don't look forwards to it either. Nadin has made two trips in the last five years, and she's an expert.

14. 7 of our Sales Team including three from Europe had their Flights cancelled this week
which is usually one of the most traveled Holiday weekends in America...4th of July (Friends and Family).

Our company found this to be highly unusual. Flights out of NY to NC were canceled for our three European Clients and our Sales Managers who are all over the USA from CA to FLA to MIDWEST all had flights canceled.
I think this randomly capitalizing DUmmy has stumbled onto a sinister conspiracy against European Clients.

27. That is curious  the flight Houston to San Diego three weeks ago was all but full.

I suspect they are having flights that are less than full, and that is costing them money... cheaper to cancel flights. Then again we did a nice loop around the airport while they checked to make sure our port engine was working... nothing like a warm fuzzy there. To make things worst what is one of the stories on the plane? Passenger plane goes down in Russia.

Yep, it was a very enjoyable flight and we were an hour late. Thankfully they made sure mechanically it could fly. But I wonder how many flights are getting affectedl by this too?

32. One can see here that air travel is actually...
up.

Check that link, nads, it shows that your premise about security hurting the airline business is full of shit.

13. I flew today and Monday 6/27. There wasn't
much extra security at my point of origin on Monday. A flight attendant told me that the location, in a huge international airport in a major city, has trouble keeping its TSA staff full. We went through the usual metal detector and nothing else. No patdown required.

Coming back, we were in an unfamiliar airport and ended up in the nude-o-scope line. I politely opted out, and took my two boys with me, letting Hubby decide for himself. I was told we'd be patted down, I said "Fine."

My 11 year old got the full treatment by a new TSA employee who was demonstrating to his supervisor that he knew how to properly pat down an 11 year terrorist. My oldest, age 14, is very autistic. I told the super that he would probably not be able to comply with verbal instructions. The super did his patdown, barely touching him, and skipped most of it. I could tell that he thought it was a bullshit waste of time. I was patted down and told I was done, except, "I have to swab my gloves," the agent told me, as if I was supposed to know what that was about. Then I realized what she meant and told my confused Hubby that she was testing me for explosives. I used a fairly flat tone of voice, but gave him that smirking look of incredulity. She saw it and was pissed, but didn't have a good enough reason to keep me any longer at 6:30am.

They were professional behaving, but I still think alot of the extra screening done nowadays is bullshit security theater. There are plenty of ways a thoughtful and intelligent terrorist can get around these guys and cause harm, but I don't think the TSA is doing anything about it, including 100% luggage screening, etc.

If there is any justice in the world, DUmmy Ilsa and DUmmy rexcat would be permanent travel partners.

19. Mine has not declined
If I can avoid flying I will... but to certain places, Mexico City and Hawaii, I can't.

Now if I need to go visit family in Cleveland, I think I will drive at this point... hell see the country as well. And that is a long drive.

BTW I am with you... but the only tool we have left is NOT flying which is what some want.

She didn't check that link showing air travel increasing.

21. Disagree...
It's a very small percentage who get "copped up". I have been through it multiple times and it is an effective trade-off.

22. You mean like they do in Mexico City?
YEP, but you won't get too many to agree here, partly because when they think profiling they go immediately to the use by insert US Police Department here.

I get profiled EVERY TIME I fly out of Mexico City. In fact, I had a once over for something that I know for a fact should, they did their job, I thanked them... and when the same thing happened here... nope.

So you are correct, but it costs money and it is also cultural. We have this insane cultural belief that tech solves everything. I cannot use a machine to take a good physical look at you and challenge you a few times to establish the fact that you belong here.

29. "Opt out" of the Chertoff Nude-o-Scope whenever you fly.
And do so in a manner that lets the folks around you know why you're doing it.

It violates the 4th Amendment.

It is a slippery slope to an authoritarian state.

It is an affront to dignity.

But..... stevenumbers wants to see nadin naked on the Nude-o-Scope.

31. I suspect they will be phased off
once the airlines take enough of a hit... which they are.

It will be a conflict between the MIC and the Airlines.

The cancer clusters ain't gonna help either.

She still hasn't checked that link showing the increase in air travel.

amendment, dude nor is it a "slippery slope" to an "authoritarian state".

Those are just your scare tactics.

Isn't that ironic?
