Oh my.

It's the primitives bitching about nicknames they were given as kids.

For the record, franksolich was nicknamed "weasel" in real life because of his wonderful talent for getting out of, uh, awkward situations with grace and class.

What were your nicknames as kids. Some asshole named me Bimbo and it stuck for a few years.

My crew of girls also went through a phase as tweens when we named ourselves after illicit drugs. Alison was Alice-D, Sarah was Sarhash, I was Wendope and Tamara was ....... Tamarawana LOL!. We were so naive. We had no idea about drugs. But for that week we called each other by these names we thought we were so cool.

You know, actually the Kali primitive, not to be confused with the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive, who's from southernmost Texas, is probably the best-looking of the primitive women; and the most hygienic too.

The ones from my crowd of high school friends were....

Squire.....because he was always so well dressed....really.

Jew....because he was a tightwad....but not jewish

Rabbi....because his daddy was a preacher....also not jewish

Rip.....because he took judo and thought he was tough...NOT

Beetle Bailey...me, because at school I was lazy and didn't worry

Messiah....because he was the one Jewish kid in the whole county

Killer...the ladies man...before Flip Wilson made it popular

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I had a nickname or two, but I don't remember them.

Funny, this was the ad in the margin of the DUmp thread:

"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

6. Spider, Question Mark, Pepperbottom

Were a few

Spider, as in Spider Monkey, as in "Why do you masturbate like a spider monkey? I'm going to call you spider."

Question Mark, as in, "Dude, stop begging me for food and weed. Every sentence from your mouth ends with a question mark. I'm going to call you question mark."

Pepperbottom, as in, "God, you are a hot piece of ass. I didn't think I liked boys until I saw you in class. Don't tell anyone; I could lose my teaching certificate. And I'm going to call you pepperbottom. Your essay is due tomorrow, by the way."

I got nicknames as a kid, so not bad some just downright mean thanks to the colour of my hair. Who knew being a ginger would create so many issues as a kid, then again I was the only one in about 250 kids so I kind of stood out.

Did anyone use the term "ginger" before that South Park episode?

I'm not really sure. I just know people around me started using it so I did too.

I was Rooster - a corruption of my last name - and my last name was often substituted in Toto's song Rosanna.

My nickname was... and still is... wait for it now.... Perky!!!

Actually it was Little Perky. My Dad was Perky. Everyone dropped the "Little" when I hit 6'3'' in 8th grade.   :-)
