Madison was supposed to be where the revolution started, but it is fizzling. Only the most major of the major nut cases of the left are here now. Still just as nasty as ever.

Any new pie shops popping up in the area?

These morons want to throw aside the traditional corporate structure and set up a "worker" owner paradise but are too lazy to get out from their keyboards and actually work to achieve it.

I wonder if it occurs to them that in their utopia they actually have to be a "worker" in order to take part in their desired system.

They really believe some peon will risk his/her life so that they can take their place in the politburo that they deserve.

I always thought the Taverner primitive had a bookstore in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Oh heavens no.  Taverner's not anywhere near responsible enough to have an establishment of his own, particularly something repectable like a bookstore in a big city.  He's always lived in nutty California.  Unemployable, due to a penchant for drugs, he also enjoys drinking in his spare time, especially after getting fired.  Other hobbies include dreaming of socialist/communist revolution, and spinning his wheels.

Dear Taverner,

Be careful what you wish for, m'boy.

Just sayin.

Oh heavens no.  Taverner's not anywhere near responsible enough to have an establishment of his own, particularly something respectable like a bookstore in a big city.  He's always lived in nutty California.  Unemployable, due to a penchant for drugs, he also enjoys drinking in his spare time, especially after getting fired.  Other hobbies include dreaming of socialist/communist revolution, and spinning his wheels.

Thanks, madam.

But now I'm wondering.

Who's the Taverner-sounding primitive who owns, or owned, a bookstore in Minneapolis-St. Paul?

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Chris that would be hilarious!

Did you all know that Taverner has apparently found a job.  He posted this in the Lounge:Here

Then he posts the address of Looney's BBQ, which is 5319 Martin Luther King Blvd, Oakland.

I'm not sure what he's doing for a living since there really isn't anything around that particular building, especially right next door.

I think it was RetroLounge.

Roger that. Frank is, for once, slightly confused.

Myself, I confuse Redstone, ThomWV, NL000HI or whatever, and a couple others. I'm sure they all look the same, anyway.

Well, Redstone is TiTtyboy's drug and music buddy out east, and ThomWV is the only DUmmy who pulled all of his own teeth and wear them as a necklace. The stupid Don, with the capslock key, is just a boring DUmbass.

He is boring, and can't even come up with a good screenname.  Grouchy old Don.

Wasp, I went over to the map you linked.  It looks like a good locale for a carwash, or a Jiffy Lube, or somesuch.  Not a corporate highrise with a respectable, well-paying business in it.

I think Jiffy Lube drug tests. I still say if he goes someplace downtown every day, it's not a job, it's a methadone clinic.

At the street level view, all I could see were duplexes and such beside it.

He must work in that ugly blue building right next door.  I zoomed in and tried to look in the windows, but they have curtains up.  Wonder what's going on in there?  Meth kitchen?  Illicit massage parlor?  I even looked in the tree, to see if he was sleeping in it like a moonbat.

Be careful of giving out too much information on the internet, kids.

There's a little hole in the door that you put your money through, and then the baggie comes out.
