Isn't TS'ing a longtime DU'er and not giving them time to say goodbye...

Isn't that a little bit like firing a longtime teacher and forcibly removing them from the school without allowing them to say goodbye (a story that was reported on DU recently).

If you think about it, you are also cutting off possibly our only way to contact a DU'ers we like on a personal level.

No more PM's and suddenly no way to contact.

Question from franksolich: how is it possible to "like" someone "on a personal level" if the only contact one has with that someone is an internet relationship where one doesn't even have means of off-internet (or off-Skins's island) communication and interaction?
