The "Highway of Death" was a great operation, and made for terrific TV, but I think it's been vastly overhyped as far as lethality is concerned. Even as stupid as muzzie arabs are, they would not have sat still in their trucks waiting their turn for a missile. It looks like dozens, maybe hundreds of vehicles were destroyed very efficiently, but you know the vast majority of the vermin that had been inside got out and scattered across the desert. Some were killed for sure, but it's interesting that whenever the military-hating press talks about the butchery that went on, they always show the same two or three charred corpses. Our pilots were destroying vehicles and other military materiel. The muzzie rats were a secondary consideration, and most evaporated into the sand dunes. The "Highway of Death" bullshit caused Bush41 and Gen. Schwartzkopf to get cold feet and call off the dogs way too soon.
