Chloe went to the vet today. She weighed 17.5 lbs. She needs to lose at least 2.5 lbs.

I forgot to turn the 1st picture.  I'm on my iPad and I don't know how to do it on here. Anyone want to fix it for me?

What a cutie!  She doesn't look like a tub o lard like my girl.  My beagle/coon hound mix had a really good Christmas and has never dropped the extra weight.  I enrolled her in the Biggest Loser contest at the vet, but haven't had her back for a weigh in because I'm afraid she's actually gained.

You coming for a visit or back for good?  I've been following your saga, I guess I missed that part.

Don't know if it's for good but we are getting out of CA and going back to Dallas. Where we end up finally will depend on where my husband gets a job.

Welcome back home!  :-)

It's incredible that his company left Texas and went to California when many companies are doing just the opposite.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Cute dog.  Most of the schnauzers I see resemble bristle brushes.

BEG, she doesn't look fat to me.  But then, my new husky/collie/chow mix needs to lose 10 pounds, according to the vet.  I think all his fur weighs half of that all in and of itself!

About six weeks ago, our golden retriever weighed 99 lbs. That is ENTIRELY too much weight.

But she's lost at least 8 lbs, with another 15 to go. She's doing well because we have her on double sessions on the treadmill (at least a mile each session) every day.

Belle is a regular chow hound (no pun intended) and her favorite activity is NONE.  :lmao:
