Welcome to the ant farm. Big Brother wants to keep tabs on you, weather you like it or not.
Remember when this was a free country, before the Patriot Act, before RFID and other covert warrantless tracking of American citizens?
Those were the days. We were free then.
I don't care how they try to water this down or sugar coat this, this is bull shit. Might as well have everyone tattooed with a ****ing bar code across the forehead and shackle everyone with an ankle bracelet.

  • Not right, but not left, either.
RFID chips can be disabled without much trouble.  You can also buy RFID programmers for not a whole lot of money.

But why should we have to do these things?

  • Spread the work ethic; the wealth will follow.
But why should we have to do these things?

Because "the price of liberty is eternal vigilance."

It's when we feel secure and let our guard down that we are most at risk.

Will disabling or tampering with the RFID, will or could it be seen as an act of terrorism against the government?

Don't laugh, there's already been talk of chipping human beings the same way we implant locator microchips in animals these days.

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Senate Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability on Wednesday approved an amendment to include “electronic authentication,” as well as “biometrics” to Florida Driver’s licenses.

When the Fed mandates this, I'll worry much more.
