It's just another way of keeping glow-bull warming and tree-hugging in front of us, and to keep the alarms jangling.

After all, the scientists need to eat, so in order to keep paying them for their fact-based data and lies conclusions resulting from analyses of that data, we gotta know that if we continue to fling boogers at God, we're gonna be punished.

Besides, isn't it best to know that despite their atheism and agnosticism, they've got God on their side?

After all, God doesn't play favorites.
