Health care executive slain in S. Charlotte
   
Expensive neighborhood-


A respected health care executive walking home from a nearby business was gunned down Friday morning on a residential street in a quiet south Charlotte neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of Mullens Ford Road, off Carmel Road, not far from Charlotte Country Day School.

3. I think this type of violent crime is going to increase
   
all those neighborhoods that people have felt "safe" in are going to be targets now that so many people's safety nets are gone.

It's incredibly sad what is happening to the country.

There's a Charlotte in both states. It really bugs me when online local papers don't bother to mention anywhere what damn state they're in.

Odds are if the local paper says the name of that town, it happened there.

The shooter has finally been described as a young black man.

I said finally because the local TV stations were reporting this all day yesterday asking people to help the police catch the killer before finally giving a description on the evening news.

They seem to leave out the race of the criminal a lot these days. Around here you can narrow down your search a lot by giving the race/sex/age....like....male, you've cut your search in half... black/white another half....younger than 35 by another half...now you're down to 12% of the population....young male hispanic and you're at about 10%.

The shooter has been arrested. He's 18 years old, got a year old daughter, has a facebook page where he flashes a lot of gang signs and uses a lot gang language. He has relatives that live in the area but he lives and was arrested 25 miles away.
