If you need other people to provide those things for you what good are you to yourself or anyone else?

If giving to the poor is so ****ing noble get off the teat, be productive and contribute so you can help the poor and downtrodden.

I can think of a few.  The website for the NAACP is probably more obsessed.  Wikipedia comes in handy sometimes:

Pick one.  Chances are they are extremely obsessed with skin color -- far more than is justifiable in being a "rights organization."

Me personally?  I'm neon white and my neck of the woods has got a small share of minorities, but I can go for weeks and months without ever thinking about the skin color of the people I interact with.  When I need help in a store, I think "Oh, there's a person who can help me!"  When I see a family with young children, I think, "Gosh, what cute kids!"  When I go to church, I think, "What great Christian brothers and sisters I have!"
