I believe I have come to understand the Republican mind

It was actually right in front of us the entire time.

They believe they have created all that is good in our Country.

I come to this conclusion by posing the following question to Repubs.

"Based upon your beliefs what Country can you point to as being successful?"

Now I thought this would be an eye opener for them, name a successful Country following Republican ideology. To me it was evident, you can't.

To a Republican it was very different, each one answered..... The United States of America.

So each one believes that the USA is the best example of what should be followed, completely ignoring Public education, completely ignoring Union contributions, completely ignoring FDR and the social programs put in place.

In summation they believe that this Country is the shining example of all that is possible while conveniently ignoring all of the sacrifices made by every one of their forefathers.

All I know DUmmy is by this point in Reagan's first term unemployment fell by 3%. Obama on the other hand hasn't done anything but push the car further in the ditch.

I heard Obama today saying that he isn't worried about gas prices being higher that we can just learn to live with high prices. 3 years ago you guys wanted Bush strung up and killed for high gas prices.

I'm not going to claim that all democrats have ruined our country God knows the GOP helped them enough, but I will say Obama has made things even worse. A real leader would be doing something to try to alleviate high oil prices not shrug his shoulders and say we will adjust.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I'm not a political science major or an economist, more a salt of the earth type but even a Joe six pack like me can plainly see that the bigger government gets, the more the economy suffers (meddling regulations, higher taxes). The bigger the unions get, the more the economy suffers (employers forced to shift production overseas or cease operation altogether).
The smaller government is, the better the economy is (less meddling in markets, less taxes, more growth). The smaller the unions are the better the economy is (more competition, companies can afford to invest in growth and expand, hiring increases). Smaller government means less social programs (removing the yoke of social programs stimulates incentive and motivates more to join the work force or start small businesses, increasing the tax base and decreasing the burden overall).

All I know is when more people are working and contributing to society as opposed to large numbers of people out of work and on the public dole things are better all the way around. People who earn their own keep have an awful lot more self respect than career welfare cases. People who own their own homes know the pride in that as opposed to those who rent and blame their landlords for their station in life. It translates into better communities with less crime and abundantly more civic pride. A man who earns his own keep and contributes is a citizen. A man on the public dole is a serf. Idle hands are the devil's workshop.

At least the Republican mind CAN be understood.

DUmmies have no mind that can be measured, studied, understood, or found.

There is really no way to ask the question of a DUmmie because, in the first place, DUmmies hate success.  In the second place, DUmmies love failure.

After realizing this, there is really nowhere to go in the conversation. Or even any point in attempting a conversation.

DUmmies love misery and, therefore, the more misery, the more success.

See, it just doesn't work.

I believe I have come to understand the Republican mind...

Bullshit, DUmbass Dog.

Every once in a while my dog will look over my shoulder while I'm working on a design, and study it intently, like maybe she's trying to understand what it is I do that keeps her in the lifestyle to which she'd like to remain accustomed.

Then she flops down on the floor beside my chair and proceeds to lick her own ass.

Yeah, you and DUmbshits like you don't have the first clue what it is like to be RESPONSIBLE for one's own well-being, let alone the well-being of an entire family, and through confiscatory tax rates that border on a violation of the thirteenth amendment, half the damned country besides.  So go back to licking your own ass, and leave understanding important things to those of us who can think logic rings around your drug addled "mind", mm-kay?  :whatever:

None of those things made this country great.

Freedom of assembly and consent of the governed made this country great.

None of the things listed would exist without the antecedent liberties protected by the Constitution. The latter is an outright aberration. Without liberty unions become labor camps. Without freedom public education becomes indoctrination.

Conservatives cherish liberty because it is also the prerequisite to self-reliance. We simply wish to be left alone.

And if that means we must oppose the conditions that create labor camps and indoctrination then so be it.

We don't have mere rhetoric on our side, we have the Constitution that no other country at any time has ever had the genius and inspiration to create.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

If you want to see what progressivism gets you, look at Detroit. If you want to see what conservatism gets you, look at the suburbs.

Sorry libs, I follow a classical liberal ideology, and ideology that saw this great nation created. For that simple reason, I became a conservative because I want to conserve what this country was founded for and why it came to be. It's as close to freedom this world has ever seen.

NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Much like a toddler understands the General Theory of Relativity.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

There, fixed it for ya DUmbass.
