i heard him say that on a morning christian show yesterday.
they were talking about science versus religion...

now, i know ben is a convservative jackass and all....but...

damn.
thats a lil out there.
he shames his 'cousins' by such a statement....
science didnt put them to death, the nazi(FASCIST) ideaology did.

anybody else hear him say it by chance?


EDIT: ive been looking around the net n found out he actually wrote a book about how science has persequted christianity...that explains it. i had no idea he was a religious nut until yesterday.

Ben Stein is being interviewed a lot lately, as I believe he has a movie coming out that discusses the evolution vs intelligent design debate.  I haven't seen any specifics, however I've heard that it does not treat liberalism well......

Totally off topic, but you need to listen to Tim Wilson.

Oustanding comic. Country, either from Tenn or Kentucy, obviously a Rebuplican, or at least a right-centered Libertarian.

He has a whole skit about various things about Israelis-as he married an Israeli woman.

My favorate one has to do with Pricess Diana running off with a "Damned Egyptian".

Hey, you know what???? It was science that created Global Warming(TM)!  :o

I think Algore rips on the internal combustion engine, invented by science, in one of his rants.  And lets not forget the incandescent light bulb and the mercury poisoning solution to the light bulb.

Personally, I think it is liberal fascist ideology that actually creates Global Warming(TM).  But I'm just saying...

As another DUer noted, it was the psudo-science of eugenics that the Nazis used. However it was not America's fault and it's supporters were overwhelmingly of the Left.
