Recall drives EVERYWHERE

Edited on Sun Feb-27-11 11:57 AM by drm604
While we're stirred up. While the public is energized and on our side. In every district where we can win - where we would have won if people had voted - we should mount recall drives for every Republican who is eligible for recall.

Is that possible? Can we do that?

Edited to add: Can we register new voters for recalls?

Edited again to add: This includes on the federal level!

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x521299

For people who call themselves democrats, they sure do not like the democratic system we have in place.
They win elections and all we hear is, "The people have spoken".
We win elections and all we hear is, "Recall, impeach, election fraud!!!!!11111 eleventy!!!!"

You idiots on the left can live with the fact that you lost the election. Your chance to undo part of it is less than 2 years away for some and less than 4 years away for others. As Obama told us, I am saying we won, get in the backseat and shut up. We are trying to get this car out of the ditch and all you libs are doing is sippin on slurpees and bitching and moaning.

8. My understanding is that there are 8 Wisconsin Republican Senators who can be recalled.

According to Wikipedia, the current composition of the Wisconsin Senate is 19 Republicans and 14 Democrats.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisconsin_Senate#Compositi...

If we could replace 3 of those Republicans with Democrats it would then be 16 Republicans and 17 Democrats.

In the old days you would have to wait to elections to replace them but, you want to bypass the system and try to stack the deck in your favor.

12. How many of the

democrats will be recalled and loose their seats for not showing up to work when this process starts? I am not sure this is a battle we want to fight.

Yeah because if you use those tactics, the teabaggers may get some ideas and tea bag you once again.

There is a time and place for recalls. If someone in office is doing something illegal then recall is legit. Recall is not just because you you don't like the policies of those in office.

I haven't figured out why the unions and the DemRats are fighting Walker so hard.  They claim the people of Wisconsin are on their side, then let the elected politicians do their business.  Next election, if the people of Wisconsin are truly on the side of the unions, then the Republicans will be voted out and DemRats voted in.  The left can reverse those laws done by Walker.

Right.  Let's recall someone for trying to balance a budget.  I say TRYING because the democrat senators ran away to Illinois.  So, how about the people of Wisconsin recall the fleebaggers instead?  After all, the Republican senators show up for work every day.

The people of Wisconsin voted Walker into office.  If you don't like Walker as governor, get off your ass during the next election and vote Walker out.  You pathetic piece of shit.

Oh, and I posted this on my FB before even reading this:

trying to recall Governor Walker for trying to balance a budget is like asking your spouse for a divorce when they try to balance the checkbook.

At DU that would make perfect sense.

Way to blow your mole's cover, dude.  There is no quicker way to get the granite than to try to introduce inconvenient facts into a DUmmie political strategery discussion.

Who? Where?

What they mean is, they have a bunch of professional protesters that enjoy holding up signs and sleeping on park benches.
I bet you 90% of the protesters have no real idea of just what they are protesting against. Someone merely told them that Walker is Hitler and off they go. They figured all the people in Egypt looked like they were having a riot, so they decided to join in here.

On TV, they asked one of the students that had been bussed into Madison. He said the reason they were there was to "stop some dude from doing something". When you think about it, that's pretty much the democrat philosophy.

And just announced on Fox News they are asking the protesters to leave so the capitol building in Winsconsin can be cleaned and yet the Dummies refuse to leave .I'm hoping the cops are going to have to crack some heads to get them out of the building. If they are that stupid to stick around just to protest then hey, they get what they deserve.

The DUmmies are saying stooooopid things about it being illegal and unconstitutional to close the capitol.  Every public building has set hours that they are open.  The fact that Walker has let them camp out for long shows that  he isn't a DemRat. A DemRat would have knocked heads and dragged the protesters away the first night.

Clean?  I wonder how long it's going to take to clean that place up after all those nasty moonbats were in there.  I'd hate to have that job.  Could you just imagine?  Makes me want to vomit just thinking about it.

I'd do it, but they may not like my methods.

I'm thinking something around 20hp, 5 gpm, and 5,000 psi.  If any moonbats want to remain after I light this thing up, they'd better be prepared to loose some body parts, because those numbers WILL take off a finger, and more.

If the cleanup is really nasty, I can add 185 degrees to the mix with the fuel oil burner attachment.   :II:

Recall?....they've smoked so much of that funny stuff they can't recall what they had for lunch.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
