I mean seriously?

How difficult is it to understand that when 98% of the wealth is in the hands of 5% of Americans...and that NO taxes are being paid on that wealth...the the other 95% of us are fighting for the scraps of taxes on 2% of the money in this country???

Why are we broke? It is pretty self-explanatory.

Why isn't THIS the message on the streets??

You know what? I'm just gonna agree with you and suggest we confiscate the wealth of George Soros, Al Gore, Michael Moore and Bill Clinton right away. Since they are all lefties they should be fine having their wealth taken and spread out equally amongst the masses. What are we waiting for? Let's just go right in their bank accounts now and spread the wealth.

The rise of teabaggers aka racists in our area for the midterms cost us a few good people in our statehouse.

Even though racist baggers put Allan West into office. Maybe he really isn't black and just wears shoe polish.  :mental:

15. I think the first step is getting them to admit that we as a nation are not "broke".
   

How can we be broke when we have more billionaires now than at any other time in American history. Getting them to the place where they embrace the idea that the wealthy need to redistribute some of that wealth to the poor and middle class for the betterment of society, well that's another thing. But at least they will no longer believe that absurdity that "we're broke".

Yeah the 14 trillion deficit is insignificant. Yet the 10 trillion under Bush was the end of the world. At least we have been consistent and we bitched about the first 10 trillion under Bush as well. Now that Obama is adding to it the deficit is no biggie.

I have a general memory from a few years ago. President and Mrs. Bush made a little less than $900,000 and paid slightly less than $300,000 in taxes....1/3 of what they earned went to taxes.

John Kerry for the same year made $5,000,000 and paid less taxes than the Bush's....something less than $200,000.

The richdemocrat should pay their fair share.

Also, what was the amount of money that the Bushes paid out to charity, versus, say, the amount that Biden reported paying out to charity on his last return?

Why do the DUmmies care to make the ignorant "teabaggers" understand their message?  Don't they keep saying that there are so few of us to even make a difference?  

It would appear they are feeling the pressure coming from those of us with common sense who know that socialist policies and redistribution of wealth won't make one bit of difference except to bring the entire country down.  

The real question is why can't we get the DUmmies to understand that no matter how much the evil rich people pay in taxes, the government bureaucracy will mismanage and misappropriate it?  And these union folks protesting?  Don't they realize they are being used by the big-wigs of the unions?  Even if they got everything they wanted, the unions are being run by quasi-government thugs who are the only ones getting wealthy from collecting union dues.

The DUmmies always use wealth and income interchangeably .  How many limousine liberals own million dollar mansions while poor bobo the hobo is homeless?  For that matter, how many other DUmmies own houses worth a $100k or more while poor bobo is lucky to have her Buick?
