This economy may be starting to hit home for some
My daughter who works in the grocery store was telling me that she has noticed a HUGE increase in the usage of food stamps.

I am sure that is the way of the country.

She was telling me that she has noticed some trying to hide their food stamp card...or swiping it really fast and putting it back in their wallet...she even said one lady TAPED a debit card to the top of the food stamp card so it looked like she was using a regular card...and not the one with the tell-tale white background on it.

That uncomfortableness, to me, signals that is someone who has never had to turn to the government for help, finding themselves in a position to do so.

When that uncomfortableness leads to action, maybe we will have a chance.

Right now, I don't know, but I KNOW that I am hoping against hope that the people of the Great State of Wisconsin motivate a nation.

Just a few short months ago the DUmp was celebrating the record number of people on food stamps.
Nancy Pelosi told us how food stamps create jobs.
I suppose horse with no brain missed the meme that food stamps are wonderful.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Hello, DUmbass, they already have!  On Tuesday, this past November, those who have had no choice but to humble themselves to get govt assistance voted the country to a very deep red on almost all levels.  Wisconsin is the outcome of that.

The fact that you are too stupid to notice is not surprising.

Yeah.

This needs to be pointed out more often.

Thank you, sir!

Of course, paying for the lavish State and municipal union employee benefit packages is what put a lot of those people on food stamps in the first place, when their overtaxed and regulated-to-death small business employers went tits-up.

I've noticed that not one single remedy has been put forth by the Teachers, the union, the DUmp, the DemoncRats, or the president for this situation. They only thing on these peoples lips is spend more money!

The states and the country, are outa money, you morons! States cannot print money like ObieOne can, and as a taxpayer and citizen, I'd like to say, it's time to turn the power off to the US mints before our "king' spends us into oblivion and we own our soul to a country that would like nothing better than to hold us over a fire for our debt!

The only thing these asshats can come up with, is steal more money from the rich! Making the rich poor, is not going to solve a damn thing. Why anyone can think different proves their ignorance of economics! The Rich are already contributing more than their fair share. It's the politicians spending other peoples money that is the problem!

Until we make it illegal to buy politicians thru campaign contributions, we're ****ed! If the unions were unable to buy demoncRats with their dues, they wouldn't send their members into the street to look like assholes and the Teachers and every other public servant would have to negotiate in real economic terms.
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!

Destruction can happen very fast. Just look at what the donks did in four short years when they had control of the congress.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Ah for the good old days...when foodstamps were known as the american dollar.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
