For any who enjoy high school music and all it entails. Both of my kids are going to state this year. My son is going with his sax ensemble and my daughter is going with 2 percussion ensembles. My son also had a solo but made a 2 on his performance so wasn't eligible for state with that rating.

I really liked the sax ensemble. The girl in the video only had a week to practice because the boy who was supposed to go backed out at the last minute. She really stepped up to the plate.

This ensemble for the percussion was my favorite of the 2. In the next video they got off rhythm too much but because they were able to bring it back into focus they received a 1 rating.
