The dynamic behind Dallas County politics is repeated across the country. Law abiding citizens fled to the suburbs a generation ago. The media loves to call this, "white flight", but I like to refer to it as innocent people avoiding becoming victims. What was left, however, tended to be largely African American population centers. They look at the devastation around them and find it easier to blame others (whites) for their plight than to take responsibility for their own destinies. This results in them voting in people who will tell them what they want to hear (John Wiley Price). But, what they get are politicians who fleece them and take them to the cleaners. JWP is as crooked as they get, but they continually vote him in because he stands up to white people. Meanwhile they still live in crime-ridden filth and continue to blame us for it.
