But it seems to be one of those injuries that may get worse before it gets better, ya know? I can be such a ****ing klutz when I'm in a hurry.

Yeah, hippyhubby Wild Bill was getting a little testy, having to wait so long for some grub.

4. I immediately ran it under ice cold water

took a couple of painkillers and then took 1000 mg of ibuprofen, liberally administered orally a mixture of dark chocolate M&M's and plain potato chips. I'm a professional!

Now you know what I did to my hand. It's not too bad, just swollen and a little achy.

You know, franksolich is going to have to consult with our esteemed colleague HollywoodNeoCon so as to get some idea how to develop the adventures of Mrs. Alfred Packer and Wild Bill into a proposed half-hour television situation comedy. 

No need to find a writer, because Mrs. Alfred Packer writes the scripts herself.

I did something like that last year. About to "weedeed" my back yard in flip flops (I know, not smart). Had the Weedeater standing upright with the business end down by my foot. Grabbed it and plugged it in.....with my finger on the trigger. That damn thing hit about 10 revolutions before my shock turned to decision-making, I.e. take your dumbass finger off the trigger, you flip-flopped moron. I didn't immediately jump on a message board to post about it because, well, I'm not a ***** and it's not the first time I got a boo boo.  :whatever:
