Last Word: O'Reilly interruption total during Obama interview: 43
Impressive.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x370022As I said in another thread, I watched the interview. The only times that O'Reilly interrupted the Liar in Chief was when he tried to avoid questions or spin the answer. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that O'Reilly only asked 43 questions.

1. Bill O has a huge EGO...
He can't just let some unimportant person like the President of the United States upstage him, now can he?
They had difficulty finding a venue to hold both of their egos at the same time. I think they used a hangar for one of the Goodyear blimps.

2. I was watching that and was reminded of GW Bush when he was interviewed by a British TV station
When the interviewer interrupted him one time he jumped down her throat, telling her "you ask the questions, and I answer them". "Let me answer the question".
At the time it was all about respect for the office, but yesterday O'Reilly fell back to his days at "Inside Edition", as if he was interviewing a suspected mollester.
It was very disrespectful that O'Reilly continued so. Perhaps the president should have started interrupting the questions.
If that happened, which I doubt, then it was likely because of the antipathy expressed by the interviewer. I have never seen President Bush talk angrily with an interviewer, though.
Not much of a bonfire, few primitives want to admit to watching O'Reilly even to satisfy their Obama porn craving.
