Local group cancels Palin visit, citing "personal attacks"

Citing an "onslaught of personal attacks", a Colorado nonprofit today canceled a scheduled May appearance in Glendale by former Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin, according to a press release.

Palin was to be the keynote speaker at the Patriots & Warriors Gala at the Infinity Park Events Center in Glendale.

The event sponsored by the Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation was announced Friday but was canceled today due to "safety concerns resulting from an onslaught of negative feedback received by the organization," the press release said

"Due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Gov. Palin and others associated with her appearance, it is with deep sadness and disappointment that, in the best interest of all, we cancel the event for safety concerns," the release said.

6. from the foundations website

"...He points out that no direct threats have been made against anyone, but the recent increase in negative rhetoric against the former Alaska governor raises concern for her safety and the safety of others despite the call for civility in America, following the tragic Tucson shooting..."

There has been more violent rhetoric from the left since Giffords was shot than from the right at any time.

13. First rule of Mein Kampf. Always portray yourself as the victim when in fact you are the aggressor.

That has been the traditional role of Dems for a very long time.

I would love to see all this negativity start to backfire and give liberalism a bad name. The MSM can't keep this under wraps forever.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

In all my life (60 this year), there has never been a bigger political fraud than Sarah Palin.

This is one of the most ridiculous posts I ever heard. Just how can a politician be a fraud? Do you go to some school or seminar to become one? A politician is just like everyone else but with perhaps the gift of gab and a lot of rich friends.

How does one get elected? By the art of speech and the ability to get your lies or truths out to a particular group of people. As I see it, the only fraud that can be committed is at the voting level and you people are experts in that field. I'd be careful throwin' the term "fraud" around if I were you.

Even if you tell people one thing and do another, like the DUmmies messiah, you are just inexperienced or a damn liar. Politicians aren't into it for monetary gain from the wages he/she is paid for doing the job itself, they are in it for the money they can gain from the power they will wield and the deals they can make behind closed doors. Just ask the late John Murtha.

Sarah would have to take a pay cut in order to be elected to any office. If she just wants to get rich, there are plenty of people willin' to pay in order to hear her speak. Y'all sure don't bitch about Bill Clinton and his outrageous speaking fees, and that boy is DUmber than a rock! The only thing he's any good at is criminal activity!

Any DUmmie bringin' up Palin's  inexperience is exposing themselves to the world just how dishonest they are. Obiewan hasn't had enough experience in anything but livin' off other peoples money, to be anything above a street sweeper and you morons elected him. So, if he can be president, then anyone with the intelligence of my Basset Hounds could qualify and probably do a better job! Palin couldn't be any more of a failure than the idiot you voted for!

So just shut the hell up DUmmies! You have proven to the world that anyone with the IQ of walnut can sweet talk you into electing them if they promise you a free lunch! Not somethin' that makes you look remotely able to judge fraud to start with.

Go crawl back under yer rock, you lose again!
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!
