how do I
« on: February 20, 2011, 03:35:19 PM »
Okay, how do I fix this?

I've filed income taxes for other people, but on another, fancier, computer.

Here I am at home, and want to file my own.

I get this same message on both Firefox and Explorer:

In Explorer, I temporarily changed to allow for damned near all "cookies," but got this same message (and so I changed it back to where it had been before).

Anybody have any idea?

Have you tried downloading another browser (ie. Chrome or Opera), temporarily changing your default browser to that and trying again?  It doesn't like something in your IE and FF settings.

I'm not enthusiastic about downloading new browsers, because that can mess up the computer.

This particular computer remains set exactly the way TVDOC had set it, so that if there's any problems (of which there haven't been any), TVDOC would know right away the source of the problem.

Nah, I've had to do it before.  Just delete the browser when you're done.  It should delete all associated files with it.

Out of curiosity, what was it?  Spyware blocker?
