I remember exactly where I was,

who I was with, what we were doing two years ago today. We cheered, we laughed, we cried with joy, and I danced for the first time in many years.

It was, and will always be, one of the best days of my life.

I need a barf bag.

They seem to have all forgotten that the entirely-peaceful and generally unremarkable transition of power that day, on schedule and entirely according to the law of the land, totally disproved eight years worth of their direst predictions about the BFEE coup, civil war, etc., etc., etc.

I tuned out as much as possible of the Obama inaugural spectacle as possible, so I missed almost every single reference to it...tell me, those of you who actually stomached the viewing...was his limo pelted with eggs and haggled protestors the way Bush's was in 2001?
Some little birdie informs me this would have made Major Slobber No Facts, Just Lib Opinion "News" explode with passionate accusations of racism against our first real AA president.  Of course, I consider Obama our first AA president as well, and I hope to hell he's our last.  And no, I don't mean African American.

Here, you wanna know about big time  :loser: mentality, one of my husband's co-worker's wives is the branch manager for one of our local banks.  Right after Obama was spasmed* into office by the moonbat crowd, several idiots came into her office demanding to know why they still had to pay their mortgages and/or auto loans. :thatsright:  Two years after his immaculation, she STILL gets the odd  :mental: :loser:

In the immortal words:  "Are you serious?  Are you serious?"

I would have taken great pleasure in laughing a hearty chortle right in their faces, if I were the bank manager.

After Obamacare passed, I hear that some poor stupid souls were wandering into doctors' offices, looking for free goods and services.

Yeah, my first question to her was truly, Are you serious?  I know we have some morons in this nation but wow.  I guess that woman on tv going off about Obama's stash paying her bills wasn't such an anomaly.  And who could forget the youtube vid of NYC voters for Obama rootin' for his VP Palin.  :bwah:

I remember all the trash that the communist democrats left for someone else to clean.

I also remember buying silver which has been better than a double bagger.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I remember the classic Inauguration Day interview with the little ghetto ratette, who said the Kenyan was going to pay her rent from his stash.

I know where I was as well. I was in class trying to better myself and gain knowledge so I wouldn't be swindled by some slimy snake oil huckster from Shitcago.

I was at work.  Listening to a whole mess of coworkers getting WAY too excited about it.  Does anyone remember the ugly shoes?  The exact same coworkers are now blaming anyone who voted for Obama for all of our woes.  (I work in HR, it's pretty much a hot mess these days.)  Turns out the people who were so friggin excited didn't even vote.  Just dang.

Hmmm I don't remember. It must have been an insignificant event in my life. I don't even remember seeing any of it on TV.

Didn't care tehn and care less now that he has basically tried to do everything possible to send this country into something less then 3rd world status.

On the 19th I remembered that it was Robert E. Lee's birthday.  Is that close enough to count?
