Well, kevvy, apparently you don't have a very clear idea just what 'Involuntary manslaughter' means legally. Normally it means the person charged was doing something so reckless, willful, or grossly negligent (Not just plain-vanilla negligent) that they should have known they were likely to end up killing someone.
Now damn few miscarriages occur because pregnant women are base-jumping, free-running over jagged terrain, or heli-skiing, almost all of them happen due to simple unfortunate chances of biology.
So all your question shows is that you are an ignorant asshole, and I expect that is why they look at you funny, not because you have suddenly shed any light on their benighted existence.
