16. Whenever I hear someone telling me it is murder I always ask them if a miscarriage is considered involuntary manslaughter. . .

Well, kevvy, apparently you don't have a very clear idea just what 'Involuntary manslaughter' means legally.  Normally it means the person charged was doing something so reckless, willful, or grossly negligent (Not just plain-vanilla negligent) that they should have known they were likely to end up killing someone.

Now damn few miscarriages occur because pregnant women are base-jumping, free-running over jagged terrain, or heli-skiing, almost all of them happen due to simple unfortunate chances of biology.

So all your question shows is that you are an ignorant asshole, and I expect that is why they look at you funny, not because you have suddenly shed any light on their benighted existence.

That happened to me when I had my second miscarriage.  It was called an "abortion".  As if I didn't even want the baby.  It made me sick and I bawled my eyes out.

I hate this "it ain't a baby" crap.  We heard our daughter's heartbeat when I was six weeks pregnant.

I know they call it a 'spontaneous abortion' but I find that to be a real misnomer, and one that is especially harsh on the woman who is miscarrying and wants the baby. I know if that ever happened to me that I would probably bawl as well.

We heard our daughter's heartbeat when I was six weeks pregnant.

I remember seeing The Heiress on the ultrasound at about 8 weeks.  Her heartbeat reminded me of an M-60 machinegun firing.

My close friend miscarried just this week, and I find it really sick to see them even attempting to compare miscarriage to abortion  :argh:

A miscarriage is actually noted as a spontaneous abortion in medical records.

Really sorry to hear about your friend. :(

I wish I had nothing going on in my life where the google definition of anything would escalate me to outrage.

Lord they are a pathetic lot.

This is a whole brand new low even for the DUmmies

Not really, it's a rehash of the same meme they need to tell themselves every year or so to deal with the guilt. I'm surprised I haven't seen Zygote used yet.

Google dictionary calls a fetus an "unborn human baby"

Here's what Google Dictionary say's exactly.
An unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception.

LINK

Sounds like anti-abortion speak to me, or am I just being to sensitive? Anti-abortionists call a fetus a baby, and then condemn abortion as "baby killing".

Thesaurus say's a fetus is an "unborn human offspring".

unborn offspring: an unborn vertebrate at a stage when all the structural features of the adult are recognizable, especially an unborn human offspring after eight weeks of development

Once again, lurking DUmbasses, what else will the unborn be, a chicken?

You "people" are disgusting.
