+1 my thoughts exactly.

bambi is on now. I'm waiting for the call out for more gun control.

Shockingly, he didn't--yet.

You know, this comment really pisses me off, all you're doing is playing into the hands of the frothing at the mouth regressives. I don't know of anyone involved in the Tea Party movement that has ever advocated violence. There have been 3 incidents of violence since Obama became President and ALL 3 have been perpetrated by the left even though it was initially blamed on the right. This is the game regressives play when trying to marginalize people they disagree with.

Whoa, whoa. I know the statement pisses you off, but the implication is that you are pissed at ME for saying it. I have ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT that a REAL tea-partier was NOT involved.

My statement is that this allows the lunatic fringe on the left with a lot of political ammunition to use AGAINST the tea party. Keep in mind the fight is NOT to derail actual tea party members. The fight is to PREVENT those whom are moving TOWARD the Tea Party from actually joining its ranks.

Knowing the socialist mentality, it is vital to understand that, in their mind, this shooting is a MAJOR TRUMP CARD to use at virtually any issue involving issues that involve constitutional principles. The postings at DU prove it, Olberman's and Maddow's special shows tonight will prove it, and you can BET that EVERY "conventional" newscast tonight on NBC, CBS, and ABC will have "Does the Tea Party Incite Violence" segments no matter WHOM shooter Jared Loughner's motives turn out to be.

Bally, if you are going to be pissed (and you should), then make sure where the anger is directed. DU does NOT need MY post to get riled up over this.

Gun control is not on the mind on the left as much, yet. Their FIRST and FOREMOST targets (not a pun, but not with VIOLENT intent) are Sarah Palin and the Tea Party.

And I refuse to give them the power to hold that over my head. The Tea Party never has nor ever will advocate violence, and that's the point I make to the left no matter how much they want to turn it around for their own nefarious purposes. The point is moot now anyone because the shooter is a kook!

With the information released so far it seems he is a complete lunatic.
He is reported to be a veteran of the Afghanistan war.

If and again if needs to be stressed this is correct,it is only a matter of time before the DUmp finds sympathy again for the guy as being in his state of lunacy from his service and it is Bushes fault.

Well, that didn't take long:

12. Nothing like this. FR posters are mean and vicious. This person is schizophrenic/delusional.
He is clearly mentally ill. Certainly right-wing rhetoric influenced his actions. I also think any kind of strong rhetoric could've done it. If we had real health care in this country--real care for veterans--this wouldn't've happened. I don't think people understand the depth of psychosis people are experiencing after engagement with the US military. I've even seen people have PTSD BEFORE deployment. It's that bad.

Actually, I think the DUmp gets pretty boring when one of these big events happens. It's like they all have a super buzz on, and there's just no creativity or originality. The DUmp at its best is entertaining. It's like watching one of those ant farms, with the white sandy stuff where they build tunnels and rooms, and go about the entertaining business of being ants. As kid, I had one of those ant farms and thought it was kind of fascinating. A big event at the DUmp is like when your big brother comes into the room, picks up the ant farm, and gives it a couple of hard shakes. You can still watch the ants, but all that frenzied discombobulation gets old pretty quickly.

You and I are 100% in agreement over the Tea Party then. Definitely a capital case candidate, though it will most probably take over 15 years assuming guilty verdict and DP sentencing (i.e., if he's not found insane).

However, I do disagree that the point is "moot". The left is now going to make a full frontal assault on the Tea Party based upon this murderer's actions (he killed two others so far).

Keep in mind, their primary focus is to derail Sarah Palin, as she is their #1 target on their hit list (no pun intended, but not going to PC this in any way). The Tea Party is incidental, but I suspect the biggest winner today is Mitt Romney.

Not going to think in terms of "winners" just yet.  The biggest loser is the United States of America, as this will prove to be a seminal event in our country's history, I'm afraid . . .

Sealed borders won't stop the cartels, based on her stance it seems entirely possible the shooter is a Reconquista irredentist (<-look it up, lurking DUmmies).

That's possible. In 1978, there was a riot in East Houston that was incited by Travis Morales, which is not his real name, as he is White, not Hispanic. He is a Communist and Revolutionary.

Palin is a killer. Plain and simple. Whether is be poor defenseless animals or Democrats she likes to put her sick "sights" on. That is a clear sign of her true inner feelings. So don't start bringing the Lord into this Sarah, when your ass is in the hot seat! Man up!

I've had a Pain for President sticker on my truck since one week after obama got elected. I'm not taking it off now.

They are so itching to blame this on Palin.
I got into a huge fight on facebook with morons who said her graphic targeting congress people in several districts was inciting violence.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Here comes the spin..."Friend" on twitter who hasn't talked to shooter since 2007 calls him liberal

catieparker:As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy.

I expect we'll eventually learn his DUmp name.
He was clearly influenced by the hateful rhetoric at the DUmp against Blue Dog Democrats. A lot of the DUmpmonkeys are saying he was psychotic, even more proof of his DUmp membership.

The news said that he was mad because they gave him a bible in boot camp and was rambling on all over the internet about government mind control using grammar. Sounds like a typical DUmmy to me.

The Chaplains handed them out to who ever wanted one on one of the fist days I was there. It was never forced on anyone.

Pretty much how I remember it as well.  Then again, I only saw the chaplain once in boot outside Sunday services.
