Hundreds rescued after being stranded on highway near Sarnia, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police Constable Chrystal Jones said police were "doing our best to get to anybody who is in need of our assistance."

Const. Jones said police on snowmobiles went up and down the snow-blocked highway throughout the night to check on people and ferry some to emergency shelters.

Terry Stelmachuk, a gas inspector from Stratford, Ont., was trapped on the highway for seven hours on Monday after a jackknifed truck blocked the exit he usually takes to get to work.

Climate Change really sucks.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
