Updated at 3:51 PM After giving the current national debate about the so-called Bush Tax Cuts, specifically those geared toward the upper class, some more thought, I’ve decided that if the (upper-class) tax cuts are temporarily extended for, say, 1-2 years, then the compromise put forward by President Obama and Democrats should be that:1.) Businesses need to be held accountable and demonstrate that they are utilizing the tax cuts during this time period to actually create jobs in order to receive any additional extensions. Any further extensions by Congress will be dependent on their ability to demonstrate at least some value of lowering tax rates for the upper class. After all, The Republicans are forever talking about the need to cut programs and stop spending money on programs that don’t work.2.) Businesses need to commit to faithfully paying any past tax debts/arrears, as well as paying what they actually owe in taxes from here on out without resorting to any financial games or trickery such as keeping their money outside of the country. After all, doesn’t everybody need to pay their fair share in this day and age?3.) Republicans need to be held accountable for proposing a plan- agreeable to everybody- to pay for the extension of tax cuts. After all, they demand that Democrats figure out how to pay for things all the time. Why should they be able to exempt themselves from this requirement and isn’t doing so demonstrating “fiscal responsibilityhttp://www.examiner.com/liberal-in-indianapolis/a-tax-cut-compromise-that-we-can-all-get-behind

If we imposed mandatory hiring requirements upon businesses, I could get behind it And they would have to be living wage jobs here in America. Then I could get behind keeping their taxes down.

No, no tax cuts at all. I'm tired of the rich bastards getting more and more money. According to Representative Grayson, Rush Limbaugh will get an extra 2.5 million dollars this year.We should seize all his money and assets and take care of the poor in this country.
