Yeah well Karin I have news for you this is nothing new.
As an old lady I never thought I would talk about this but here goes----Duck and cover.
19 years old I applied for a job in the mid 1960's and was sent for a physical before being hired.------Note that MEN were exempt from this part of the hiring process.
The company I applied to did a good amount of government work, but that has I hope nothing to do with all this.
Turns out the physical was to determine if I was Pregnant at the time. I was sent to a female Doctor---rare in that day, and as I was at the time "on the rag" and wearing a tampon this doctor actually pulled it out to examine.
Thank heavens I have a dark sense of humer I laughed all the way home. Until I realised that I as a woman could not work more then 40 hours a week.----Men doing the same job were paid more then me and allowed to work as many hours as they wished. But that is another topic.

The point of this is that one never knows what they may have to do to get a job, get medical treatment or fly on a plane that they have paid for a seat on.
Three words cower us----Its the LAW, or, Its company policy, It's hospital policy, It's school policy, It's town policy, or told if one does not agree to any policy to, Just go away----Your choice.
How far can policy go when people take advantage of it and treat the person as a nonhuman???
Done in the past, it was at one time a government policy was to refuse to admit people to work camps until they took a communal shower.
