The Phelps Ministry is very hard not to become violent over. Are there no laws on the books about inciting violence, hate speech and intentionally disrupting a Church Service, town meeting or the Easter Parade?
What is going on when in the last few years it is OK to arrest people interrupting a Gay Parade and political protesters.
Some one has to give the Phelps permission to hold their protest at a funeral, who are these hide under the desk fear full town administrators that have a fear of a law suit from just a few monsters.?
I have seen in my life how towns work, and there is no reason they cannot demand the Phelps put up $100,000 to insure all is peacefull. You know, insurance and the cost of a police detail to insure their safety. Any money left over will be returned to the Phelps if all goes well.
Any way one looks at it these people are making themselves a target for violence. There must be a law that we can use to PROTECT these people from harm. { Sarcasm}
