You Didn't Get Mad When...Where was outrage over things before health care?

<snip>
You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a president.

You didn't get mad when Dick Cheney allowed energy company officials to dictate energy policy and push us to invade Iraq. Or when a covert CIA operative got outed. Or when the Patriot Act got passed. Or when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us. Or when we spent $800 billion (and counting) on said illegal war. Or when George W. Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than previous 42 presidents. Or when over $10 billion in cash just disappeared in Iraq. Or when you found out they were torturing people. Or when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country. Or when we didn't catch Osama bin Laden. Or when Bush rang up $10 trillion in combined budget and current account deficits. Or when you saw horrible conditions at Walter Reed. Or when we let a major city drown. Or when we gave more people who had more money than they could spend over a trillion dollars in tax breaks.

Now you get mad because a black man was elected president and tries to ensure that we can see a doctor when we are sick.

All the liberal talking points from the past 10 years in once post.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Since it didn't happen why would I get outraged? Bush won Florida by 535 votes in a recount paid for by your people. Suck it, you lost.

You didn't get mad when Dick Cheney allowed energy company officials to dictate energy policy and push us to invade Iraq.
Another subject that didn't happen. There was no war for oil because, hey we didn't get any did we?

Or when a covert CIA operative got outed.
And just who was that? Plame? Desk jockey Val, that one? There are thousands of desk jockeys at the CIA. None of them are classified, besides her hubby Joe is the one who was running his man pleaser about his wife the "spy".

Or when the Patriot Act got passed.
I haven't been bothered by the PA. As a matter of fact due to the fact that several attempts to attack innocent US citizens have been thwarted because of it I can safely say it's a good thing.

Or when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
Considering this never happened either I just can't seem to get my jockeys in a wad over it.

Or when we spent $800 billion (and counting) on said illegal war.
See above, unlike DUmmies I just can't get pissy about something that didn't happen.

Or when George W. Bush borrowed more money from foreign sources than previous 42 presidents.
Borrowed is the key word. Loans we have to pay interest on and pay back eventually. It's part of deficit spending. But in 1+1=Potato land I don't have the lifetime it would take to explain it to you.

Or when over $10 billion in cash just disappeared in Iraq.
Is that the rumored 10B stash that Sadam was supposed to have? Most like it went with the artwork from the museums, the archeological treasures and even the WMDs and the equipment to make them went.

Or when you found out they were torturing people.
What they did wasn't torture but I have no problem with it even if they did because it works

Or when Bush embraced trade and outsourcing policies that shipped 6 million American jobs out of the country.
You mean your hero Billy Jeffs policies? You're bitching because his policies didn't get overturned??? You'd bitch if they did get overturned too so WTF?

Or when we didn't catch Osama bin Laden.
Finally, something we can agree on! Yes I am pissed they didn't get him. Damn you PC types that decided to whinge and whine until they took away the running of the war away from the people on the ground doing the job. BTW, what has your guy done to catch him? Uh huh thought so.
Instead of partying up India why isn't his useless ass next door in Pakistan getting us access to the areas Bin Laden is hiding in? Oh that's right, Michelle has his balls back home packed away at the WH.

Or when Bush rang up $10 trillion in combined budget and current account deficits.
You DUmmies looooove to pull things out of your asses don't you? I would be outraged...if it was true.

Or when you saw horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
Welcome to your preview of Government run Hell Care DUmmies. Walter Reed is fine, prime example of what your hero wants everyone to live with.

Or when we let a major city drown.
Oooo look, a moment of clarity from a Democrat. Who just happened to run the city and state governments and let this happen.

Or when we gave more people who had more money than they could spend over a trillion dollars in tax breaks.
A trillion? Really? I call bullshit. BTW those people with more money than they can spend are the ones who pay me to work for them. It's called making a living, your 2 Moms or Dads would appreciate it if you'd leave the basement and give it a try sometime.

Now you get mad because a black man was elected president and tries to ensure that we can see a doctor when we are sick.
Nope I'm mad because a white man with no balls and a socialist agenda has destroyed the health care I had and now made it to expensive for me to go to the doctor unless I'm about to die. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out on my own before I do.

So simplistic, childlike, and childish.  Ensure?  Really?  There won't be any doctors left.  They'll have gone fishing.

Anyway, this little rant is a cut&paste from quite a while ago.  I recognized the breathless, runon style immediately.  No wonder none of the democraticks had a problem with Biden's plaigarism.  They do it all the time.  I'm surprised $kinner doesn't get sued more often.

After posting that, I ran an errand.  Heard on the local radio news that 3 orthopedic surgeons are quitting the (only) hospital.  No other comment, but that the hospital is "very disappointed."  Gee, thanks.

But,...but,...socialized medicine is supposed to keep costs down, you'll be able to keep your doctor, we'll be able to put more people on that system, all while reducing the debt.
:orly: :orly: You're either an idiot to believe that or stoned out of your mind.  :mental:

Now that is a nice, concise assessment sarge.

On a radio program, I heard that a recent poll found that something like 45% of all our doctors plan to retire before Obamacare is fully instituted.  I doubt all actually will...but I don't doubt that we'll be far shorter of doctors in a few years than we are now.   :( :(

Hey, they're still idiots.  Have you ever known an idiot to change their perspective based on facts or evidence or anything?

Dear DUmmies,

You've heard of the frog in the pot of water where one slowly raises the temperature, have you not?  That the frog will be accustomed to the gradual rise and never jump out until it's too late?

Did you ever consider what would happen if a huge sudden increase were to take place?  The frog would jump out.

That, in a nutshell, is what happened here.  For the last 75 years, we've been exposed to gradual, creeping socialism.  Been programmed to accept it.  Become dependent upon it.  Made to feel bad or "selfish" if we don't support it, be it starving old people or kids, etc.

But when Obama (and the Democrats) made such a huge leftward shift, not unlike what Carter did 30+ years previously, the electorate pushes back.  Tries to take back what's left of their freedoms.  Elects conservative, small-government, classic liberal politicians who believe in the power of the individual over the power of the state.

And it pisses you off.  To which I say, good.
