Wow another out of touch human. I used to like her... now not so much!

Condi, Condi, Condi.... :thatsright:

Colin Powell and now Condi.....blood is thicker than water and apparently skin color is thicker than blood.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

If you read the WaPo article I think it is more her not wanting to get involved with casting judgment at all more than anything else:

interesting because I just read an article about her that said she would refrain from commenting on politics.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Well, it's kinda hard not getting sucked into discussing politics when you're pimping your book. Say whatcha like about Condi, she's a practical woman who doesn't mind some of the finer things in life.

There she is, living in Commiefornia. Most of what she makes goes to taxes, so she needs more to make up for the government's hand in her pocket.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and Condi ain't no different than anybody else.

^ Or in Obama's case, the PERCEPTION of good intentions. I think he honestly thinks what he is purposfully doing is going to bring about a better life, but as we all know: He's sadly mistaken.

They, in the long run, look out for their own.  Los Bravos even did a song about it:  "Black is Black".

Obama has a foreign policy?  Who knew?

Everything I've seen so far is a half-assed continuation of Bush policy (Which I can understand her being reluctant to criticize) or aimless drifting (Which she'd probably try not to call for what it is out of simple loyalty to the country).

I can't say I've noticed any actual Obama foreign policy, myself.

I'd say his foreign policy revolves around apologizing and trying to "repair the damage caused by GWB".  :whatever:

there is another possible explanation;  many public people, past and present, are very hesitant to criticize the commander-in-chief's war policies during time of war.  it's too bad that the people observing that protocol (GWB and Condi among them) weren't shown the same courtesy when they were in power by many of the same people that are enjoying it's privileges today.

Selling 60,000,000,000 dollars of military hardware to Saudi Arabia while doing its best to undermine Israel is in America's interest! Yes! So was lifting the arms embargo imposed on China for Tiananmen Square! So is going around and apologizing for the United States's greatness!

Seriously, Condi, I thought you were better than this. :bird:
