One prick is preventing Haiti from being rebuilt

Senator Tom Colburn (R. Oklahoma), has put a "hold" on financial aid to rebuild Haiti.

Any one senator can put a "hold" on anything, regardless, of what the other 99 senators want to do. Aren't senate rules wonderful?

So one man can let the poorest country in the western hemisphere go on suffering from a catastrophic earthquake. What a guy.

I guess that Colburn considers the people of Haiti to be the "wrong" color.

Olbermann covered this the other night, but, as far as I know, no other news medium has picked up on it. (See google for more details.)

4. The idea that this man is supposed to be a doctor--a healer, is just sickening. There is no compassion in this fiend. He has a god complex, just like many of the other R docs in the legislature. Ron Paul comes to mind, Barasso, Gingrey also. I know there are more but these in particular come to mind.

7. Paul Broun Jr. (R-GA 10th) is reported to be a "physician" but his "practice" is just housecalls. 
 
I've never met any of his patients, nor have I ever seen him on the streets of his "hometown", and he sure as hell doesn't campaign here in the 2nd largest city in his district.

9. It's actually several million pricks attached Haitians, that are preventing Haiti from being rebuilt. There are 1000 Haitians per square mile, most under the age of 20. They have no economy, no water and their only export is Haitians.

I know that seems cold, but the reality is colder. The numbers don't lie, whether we like the implications or not. Haiti certainly provides a full employment opportunity for the professional poverty pimps.
