Oh my.

For the sparkling husband primitive, this is rather long.

He must've had a really big dump inside of him, when he sat down to write this.

When the very same meme often with the very same words, is used all day by various newsreaders . . .

. . . how can that be construed as anything but the company line being implemented?

Today, MSNBC is asking each and every guest if telling the base to "buck up" and "stop whining" is helping or hurting the Democrats.

Here's my take: Asking the question *was* legit - back when the words were said. Most people have moved on. So, as interest/"outrage" over the remarks begins to flag, MSNBC sees their job as stirring the shit pot. Watch MSNBC today and see if you notice how often this is "innocently" interjected into on air "conversations" (actually, fully scripted vignettes).

They do this a lot. One such example that continued until just recently, and which I've posted about before, was calling the upcoming ethics hearings for Rangel and Waters "trials". There is no such thing as a trial for them in the offing. And yet, there is good old MSNBC - seen by so many as the bastion of liberal reportage - calling them trials, or word with no other purpose than to make the two seem to be criminals, even as they have yet to be charged with malfeasance by anything but a political body.

The only time you don't get this subtle but well thought out propaganda is when their liberal hosts are on. As cover, the network seems to mostly allow their night time lineup to say whatever they wish so as to maintain their liberal bonafides. There have, however, been instances where these night time hosts, quite inexplicably, have just avoided a topic rather than go against the company line.

By the way, looking ahead, here is another meme they're starting: Should the Dems celebrate if they lose seats in both houses but still maintain control?

What a bullshit question. OF COURSE they should. The fact is, conventional wisdom says the party of a first term president loses control of at least part of the Congress in the new president's first midterm. If the Dems hold both houses, the fact is, against conventional wisdom, that is a HUGE win.*

Subtle but relentless - that's your "friends" at "liberal" MSNBC - worse than Fox.

*this is something the sparkling husband primitive learned from reading franksolich.

2. Precisely

They gather our ears with the bait of the nighttime liberals and pound us during the day.

Right now, to present a "left vs right" perspective, they have Doug Wilder and Bob Barr on. Isn't that more like right and righter?

7. You're not suggesting that the media is trying to help the Democrats, are you?

You're just pointing what might be a good thing in the current state of the media, right?

9. Following the course of these memes is an education.

When the FBI was trying to float their stupid sorry excuse of a case against Ivins, I followed the word "compelling" through their statements + the "coverage". The word was used instead of facts, it became a substitute for facts.

10. It certainly is . . . . . yet so many people just accept red meat agreement as an indication of . .

. . . . mutual interests and agreement.

I have three or four threads up right now about MSNBC and look at the disdain and disbelief and at whom it is aimed.

As usual, franksolich expresses his gratitude to the sparkling husband primitive, who 1965-1967 while in the U.S. Navy off the coast of South Carolina, protected franksolich, then a lilluputian little kid.

franksolich owes his life to the sparkling husband primitive, and thanks him.

He joined the navy so he could purposely drop the soap in the showers.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I always wondered why the sparkling husband primitive, born and raised in Connecticut, spent only two years in the Navy, though.

I'm sure it was a good experience for him, a growing experience, that would've led to bigger things.

If the sparkling husband primitive had stayed in the Navy, he'd probably be Fleet Commander by now.

I think the sparkling husband primitive took a wrong turn in life somewhere.

They certainly know the democrat voters.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
