Dixie, it wouldn't surprise me.
We had a programmer where I work that bathed once a month, whether or not he needed to, it seemed. Decent guy otherwise, as he was one programmer that would go to someone whose application he was working on, and ask them what they wanted the program to do, then tailor the program to the user's needs. His boss is a guy who writes the program, then tells the user, "Deal with it." Anyway, if you could get over his constant smell, he was alright. A week ago last Wednesday, he wasn't feeling well, so he left work early and walked the block-and-a-half to the parking garage to go home. He never made it, having a massive heart attack on the sidewalk and dying there. Yes, he had high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a bad diet, and was overweight. 56 years old. No family, no kids. A shock and a half to us.
