No matter who your favorite conservative icons are, there's probably somebody you like showing up. Huckabee, Romney, Jindal, Bachmann, DeMint, Pence, and more will be there (though a couple of those are pending confirmation). I imagine it being a sort of mini-CPAC, but without all the Ron Paul fans. If CPAC is Christmas, VVS is Easter. I believe the hotel it's in is even right next to the one at which CPAC 2010 was hosted.

I will be there and I'm very excited!

Well, I had fun. A lot of interesting speeches. One thing that sort of stood out to me: Lila Rose's testimony about the things Planned Parenthood and the UCLA health clinic say to young pregnant women was shocking.

Mike Pence's victory in the straw poll was interesting and surprised me.

Me too, though I view it as a good thing.  I don't regard Gingrich's ambitions as such a good thing since he so recently has been backing RINO's against actual Conservatives, and seems to be coming late to the party and making a lot of BS excuses for what a cynic might call rank opportunism and a history of bad judgment, though.
