Yes, and they will come to the exact same conclusion as always.

They failed to get their message out.

Indeed - the left's reason for failure is always diagnosed as not being left enough by Democrat party leaders. So they go further left and get louder about it.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, they actually sold the country out to a middleman in HCR.

Every single time the Socialist policies onf the left fail to get passed or don't gain traction with the public...the first response is ALWAYS..."we didn't do a good enough job of getting our message out".  I've seen political campaign managers bemoan the fact his party or his candidate lost was because they weren't Liberal enough.

Every single time they continually fail to see the problem is their policies not the people.

They are being rejected precisely because of the message they are putting out.

But they never see it.

Health Care Reform was written by the insurance industry lobbyist.  The person who is most responsible for the language of the bill was the General Council for Well Point and was hired by Max Baucus.  She is also the top pick of the President to implement said bill.

Is the General Council for Well Point a communist mole.

You have proof of this that you can link to?  Otherwise you're just talking out your ass to defend "your guy" and shield him from taking responsibility.

ANd even if what you claim is true...the President and Congress didn't have to pass it.  It was even MORE unpopular with the American people this time around than it was in 94.

Only BillyJeff had the smarts to put it on the shelf.

Face it...the Democrat Party has been trying to force us into Socialized Medicine since about 1972.

It's been a goal of the Democrat Party...a plank in their platform for as long as I've been alive.

They finally forced their dream on the rest of us.  And despite what sycophants like you try to spin to the rest of us...this wasn't some evil machination of the Big Insurance or Big Pharma.

Why would the be behind something that's detremental to their bottom line?

This coming from the guy who claims that the U.S. is Socialist in nature.

Democracy has a component of socialism.  I never said the entire country is socialist.  What I said is there is a balance between socialist institutions and private institutions in the country.

Agree.  I've witnessed it time and time again and I don't expect it to change anytime soon seeing that they're stuck in an infinite loop.

Gimme a ****in' break! Your messiah has said all along he's for single payer! He and his partners in crime, have also said the way to get there is precisely what this stinkin' turd is all about! You make insurance so expensive no one will be able to afford it, and they will be forced into gubmint hand-outs! Sound familiar?

Kinda like cap and tax. Make it so expensive to build coal fired power plants, ( our most abundant natural resource for generating power ), and they won't be built!

The "it's the insurance companies fault", is pure bullshit! That dog don't hunt!

This bill did nothing more than put insurance out of reach for the so-called poor you "progressives" say you are so hell bent on helping. You guys just want them begging for assistance from the "god" of government!

How 'bout this, I refuse!

Throw me in jail, do what you want with me, but I ain't payin' for your "voters" health benefits! I can hardly afford my own now because of you and your ilk!

POUND SAND!
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!

I agree with this fully. :cheersmate: This is just the gateway to single payer.
Obummer has physically said that it is. He said, you can't just get to single payer overnight, it takes time and this is the first step.

No you didn't come right out and say it...but that was your intended impression you wanted to leave with us.  A sort of moral equivalence and a hint of hypocrisy on the part of Conservatives for being anti-Socialist.  Why LOOK..."Democracy has a component of socialism."

You're not as subtle or as clever as you think you are Jake.

I don't care if the freaking Tooth fairy wrote the damn thing with special exemptions to the Dentists of America.

It was a Democrat bill...it was a bill the PRESIDENT wanted.  And over the loud objections of the American people the Democrat Party...Democrat leaders in Congress and a Democrat President shoved it down our throats.

And besides...if she really DID write the bill...she did a damn poor job on it since a) none of the house or senate leaders knew what was in it.."We've got to pass it to find out what's in it" and b) there were HUNDREDS of pages that were blank.  Only footnotes that said basically "to be filled in later".

All you're doing now is trying to find clever ways to deflect th blame from where it truly belongs.  You've got an extreme hatred for big business...corporations and the free enterprise system.  It bubbles just beneath the surface and comes out in these tinfoil hat theories of yours about the real reason American is in trouble.

And it's either truly clouded your common sense about what got us to where we are or you're purposely using it as a smokescreen to protect your precious political party.

Either way its disingenuous.

You say you're an accountant...you weren't by chance one of those that cut cut free from Arthur Andersen when the whole Enron scandal broke were you?
