We’ve written a lot this week about opponents of the Islamic Center near Ground Zero saying ridiculous things or making absurd leaps.

But defenders of the plans in the media say ridiculous things and make absurd leaps too! Let’s not leave these people out.

Last night on FBN’s Money Rocks, hosted by Eric Bolling, a lengthy discussion about the issue included this line from regular Fox contributor Bob Beckel (via Johnny Dollar): “At some point, I know it’s sensitive here in New York and New Jersey, at some point we are going to have to get over 9/11. We’re going to have to get over it!”

He's the dude that is always on Hannity's show too, right?! (I don't know why, but he is. He doesn't deserve any air time, in my opinion.) Yeah, he should just "get over" the fact that he's a douche and I will NEVER forget 9/11!!! :bird: :bird:

Hannity gives that treasonous fat sack of shit Beckel a very public forum to provide what on the surface would appear to be 'balance'. Ingenuous, Hannity is REALLY using Beckel to show one of the most watched, highest rated, largest TV audiences just how full of shit and out of touch with American values the democRAT left really is.

Wouldn't be the first time.  IIRC, Jerry Springer also tried to pay a hooker with a check.

And FWIW, Beckel isn't the first lib to tell us to "get over it" re: 9/11.  Fat Boy Mikey Moore had it up on his website after an appropriate mourning period--on 9/14/01.  Keith Olbermann was telling us in his radio spots how people shouldn't be all broken up, after all--people hated the WTC and called them "ugly" when they were standing.

I could go on, but you get the idea.

Does this mean that we people must turn the other cheek?? ------I am willing to turn both cheeks but would get arrested for having my pants down in public.

On the other hand, spending a night in jail to voice my opinion is no big thing, darn if I ain't becoming the hippie I never was 40 years ago.

Are these people that tell us to get OVER IT going to tell us we need to raze Arlington National Cemetery to get over the gift of freedom that goes back so far against the aggressors.?

Anyone out there remember the catchie little tune from the late 50's early 60's that went like this.

" Their removing Grandpas grave to build a sewer. They need to appease the local residents."


This tune was along the lines of "Henry the 8Th. I am" and " Does your chewing gum loose its flavor on the bed post over night."
