my daughter has a boy chasing her.  It's quite comical, because she doesn't quite return the sentiment.  She'll be 15 this week (ACK!), and it's always been understood that she's too young for a boyfriend, etc, but we are beginning to ease up on that stance a bit.

Seriously, I was LMAO...this kid is a nice kid....friend of my son's, was ass't coach for my youngest baskeball team.  Got her number from my son, and has been texting her, but was too scared to say anything to her in person! :lmao:

Of course, he called her "babe" once when he texted her, and she answered back "BABE???".  Seriously...I'm surprised his phone didn't freeze with the attitude she sent!

No worries with this girl...she's got her head on, and isn't easily swayed by flattery.

Boy has since backed off, and decided they should get to know each other.   Good plan.

I cannot, much as I would like to, poke fun here because my Daughter turns 14 in May and I am certain I will be jogging in your shoes here before too long.

After being regaled by my wife with tales of her exploits with boys before she was our Daughter's age I live in fear of her passed down genetics. :(

I was a good girl before I met my husband....and probably up to a year after we started dating.

my little one had a date for Easter..she is the big FIVE now you know...
I've been working carefully with her on appropriate boy/girl behavior..she keeps sucker punching the poor little feller and knocking him down  :thatsright:

oh its true love..he's been "her man" for two years now...well except when he uses the B word (bossy) then she is never ever gonna be his friend again.that usually lasts 24 hours..

Flame, my son is right behind your daughter by a couple of years, and I don't envy you. The whole thing gives me a headache, and that is just from my son  :-)

It sounds like your daughter has a good head on her shoulders, so you have much to be grateful for and much to be very proud of  :cheersmate:

I have two boys and a girl.  Never worried about my boys, they just cause headaches for the fathers of the girls they chase.  :-)   Around the time my daughter entered HS, boys started hanging around our place..most of them were friends of her two older brothers.   My daughter is a sprinter on the track team and one night I noticed several boys wanting to hold the starting blocks for her.  I surmised that they just wanted to peek up her shorts.
