Rabbits not the enemy
By William Jesse, Times Colonist August 7, 2010

The Times Colonist is showing an anti-rabbit -- or is it pro-University of Victoria -- bias in its reporting and letters page.

These creatures are not the enemy, but your readers seem to think they are the plague.

There are groups who have spent plenty of money securing safe havens yet both the university and the Ministry of Environment are hindering their removal. What is the point?

The university wants the rabbits gone for a multitude of reasons, so let them go.

William Jesse

Time Colonist-Rabbits not the enemy (No, rabbits are the enemy worthy of death)

=================================================================

Rabbits are the enemy and plague of humanity. Rabbits are worthy of extermination from this planet besides gyrfalcons, seagulls, and squirrels.
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
-Napoleon Bonaparte

Allow enemies their space to hate; they will destroy themselves in the process.

Interesting, I have wondered how people get pubic lice.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Yes, so they can spread diseases to ptarmigans/galliformes and humans.
