Gibbs: Missouri Vote Means "Nothing"
« on: August 06, 2010, 11:38:36 AM »
Since Robert Gibbs is essentially the mouthpiece for the White House, which is essentially Oblahblah, then Oblahblah thinks that how the voters of MO feel means "nothing".

Gibbs dismisses Missouri vote against federal health insurance mandate

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs flatly dismissed Missouri's vote Tuesday rejecting a key part of the healthcare law.

Gibbs said Missouri’s vote approving a ballot initiative to exempt residents from the new law requiring individuals to buy health insurance was “of no legal significance.”

Asked what it means that voters in Missouri would vote against the federal mandate, Gibbs said: “Nothing.”

That's right, they feel the voters are nothing. Let's hope the voters wake them up real soon.

See if you're still singing that tune on November 3rd, asshat.

If you haven't read my thread on yesterday's voting here in TN, all it took for a good county commissioner, who is a democrat, to be defeated was a totally unknown Republican. No experience needed.

After seeing what happened here, the Dems are in a whole lot more trouble than they realize.

Let's hope they don't wake up!!

BNN Reporter: Mr. Gibbs, does the president intend to govern without the consent of such a broad spectrum of the governed?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Well....to Mr. Gibbs I would ask:

Are you aware that in the Missouri primary Tuesday, there were 537 Democrat local primary races for state, city, and county offices.  When the votes were tallied, 355 "incumbent" Democrats were thrown out (replaced by relative unknowns), and there were 43 Democrats running unopposed in local races......of the 43, 19 received "zero" votes from their constituents.........there were NO instances of unopposed Republican candidates receiving "zero" votes?

I would suggest Mr. Gibbs, that someone just declared "open season" on your party........does that mean "nothing"?

Comedy gold.... :lmao:

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
