One of our new babies got hurt.

She was caught in the fence trying to escape into the garden. When Bill got her out the back of her head and her neck were pretty ripped up so I won't show you pics of that side of her. Trust me when I say it's pretty icky. The other little ones started pecking at the wounded, bleeding area so we put her in an isolation cage and brought her in the house until she heals.

She's very active, eats and drinks, and is totally fine. She stays on the side of the cage where I am usually and chirps at me demanding to be petted. I just stick my finger in the cage and she lets me pet her wherever I want. It's unending entertainment for the kittehs and she doesn't seem to be bothered by them too much as she is completely safe.

2. They are used to watching all the chickens from the windows and door. Just never seen one this close up before. A little while ago, she and Lena, my orange tabby, were nose to beak for quite a while and both were very calm.

6. No, they're thinking Noms, bet it tastes just like chicken!

My cats would be so worked into a lather, as would the spaniels, great bird dogs that they are (not)!

There's nothing wrong with it that 11 herbs and spices wouldn't cure.  :-)

That's EXACTLY what those cats are thinking, Thundley.  Look at their faces.

Don't be....I'm not.  :lmao:
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.

My cats actually seem to know the difference between "my" chicks and other critters, birds. I've not once had an incident with them bothering my chicks.
